Saturday, April 10th is the date of the Great Texas Trash-Off for our
Adopt-A-Highway program. We plan to get started at
9am (not 10am as previously published), so arrive early enough to get settled in, beforehand. Bring gloves, sunblock, bug-spray and a “grabber” if you have one. Water is
mandatory for participants, so bring enough for a few hours of outdoor activity.
UPDATE: Thanks to the few who showed up to help, we collected over 29 bags of roadside garbage, not including the stuff that wouldn’t fit in the state-supplied sacks (
25’ length of rebar, anyone?).
